Want to know how to draw fairly realistic robins? Here\u2019s some step-by-step images!<\/strong><\/p>

(Images were not drawn, but designed by me using digital design software. Robin may not be shown 100 percent accurately. Very small tweaks may occur between any images here and also similar images in other locations).<\/p>

What are we aiming for?<\/h2>

\"Cartoon-styleA robin looking to one side! Some of the outline is of varying thicknesses, but draw however you like. Just follow the highlighted green sections and colour the whole thing in at the end.<\/p>

Step 1 - Body and Head<\/h2>

\"SilhouetteMake sure to leave little indents for the legs to come later.<\/p>

Step 2 - Add the Eye and the Beak<\/h2>

\"EyeYou can also add a white dot in the eye to show light reflection, but this isn\u2019t strictly the robin\u2019s pupil.<\/p>

Step 3 - Add the legs<\/h2>

\"LegThat\u2019s what the indents were for!<\/p>

Step 4 - Add the Tail<\/h2>

\"TailThat might be some of the wing detail behind it too (I failed to highlight all of it, oops!)<\/p>

Step 5 - Add the Main Wing Detail and some Head Pattern<\/h2>

\"HeadNearly there now!<\/p>

Step 6 - Add more Detail<\/h2>

\"ChestThat\u2019s the last outline step!<\/p>

Step 7 - Colour it in\"Cartoon-styleWell done! You should now have a similar image of a robin to this one (minus the red background)!<\/p>
